The past few days have been difficult for residents of Jackson, Mississippi, who have lost access to clean water due to severe flooding. The local charity Convoy of Hope, based out of Springfield, brings supplies and hope to the area. Ethan Forhetz with Convoy of Hope describes what the residents will receive at no cost.

Forhetz says the water and filters aren’t just helpful physically but mentally as well.

Convoy of Hope has responded to 24 disasters this year, including several feeding programs, community outreaches, and more. Forhetz says all of this is possible thanks to the trust Convoy of Hope has earned from its generous donors.
