Construction on new Marshfield I-44 interchange well underway

Work has been going on on a new Interstate 44 interchange near Marshfield for the past couple of months, and crews are starting to make some visible progress. The extensive project is scheduled to be completed in June of 2021. Angela Eden, with MoDot, says crews are doing a lot of dirt and rock moving, and tree and brush clearing. Eden adds that Brinkley Road has been closed, and will remain closed through the duration of the project……

The new Exit 100 Interstate 44 interchange is a cooperative effort between MoDot and the city of Marshfield. The project has been discussed by MoDot and the city for approximately 50 years.
