Construction of the 295-million dollar Fort Leonard Wood hospital project is ahead of schedule. Missouri GOP Senator Josh Hawley, who serves on the Armed Services Committee, is supporting President Biden’s budget request for the hospital:

That’s quicker than the original projected completion date of the fall of 2024. Construction on the project for a new army community hospital began last June. The new 250-thousand square foot hospital will also include a clinic, five-bay ambulance garage, and emergency backup generators.
