Community Leadership Awards Banquet coming to Waynesville-St. Robert

(St. Robert)–The Waynesville – St. Robert Area Chamber of Commerce is preparing for its annual Community Leadership Award Banquet next year. This event is held to commemorate the hard work and dedication to the community exhibited by area leaders, non-profit organizations, and civic groups. The Chamber will also be presenting new community awards and is currently accepting nominations. All submissions are due to the Chamber office no later than November 13th. Forms are available on the Chamber web site, www.waynesville-strobertchamber.com/banquet.php, or at the Chamber office. These awards will include the Charitable Business of the Year award to honor businesses that have made outstanding contributions to the economy and community. And the 2020 Outstanding Contributor of the Year award will recognize an individual with a proven record of exceptional generosity who has demonstrated outstanding civic and charitable responsibility, and whose example encourages others to take leadership roles. Other awards will be Educator of the Year, Community Non-Profit of the Year, Community Improvement Award, and of course, Citizen of the Year.
