Community Cares Grants Awards
A record 180-thousand dollars was distributed to area non-profit agencies during the Lebanon Area Foundation’s 2023 Community Cares Grant Awards Ceremony on Thursday night at Lifepoint Church. 28 different agencies received grants to help provide services to Laclede County residents in need. The Lebanon Area Foundation received 230-thousand dollars in grant requests this year. Grants awarded on Thursday night ranged from 2-thousand dollars up to 14,725 dollars. Two Community Partner awards were presented during the ceremony on Thursday night. Those awards were presented to Mercy-Lebanon and to Cigars and Scotch. Other organizations that received grants included the American Red Cross, the Conway Senior Center, Bays Cares Best Foot Forward program, COPE, and Crosslines. Fries anticipates another great fundraising year in 2024.
