Community Cares Funding Workshop
The first Community Cares workshop was Monday July 24th, and lots of different local non profit organizations showed up at the workshop. The workshop helped local non profits learn more about applying for a grant application to help with funding for the upcoming year through the community cares. The workshop is to help the non profit organizations help fill out all the paperwork that comes with applying for a fund, so the workshop has professionals that walk through how to fill out the paper work and apply for funds. Administrator for the Lebanon Area Foundation Melinda Fries said that there was great questions asked all around, and it was a great turnout.
Fries encourages everyone to come to the workshop
There will be one more free workshop taking place August 14th at 5:30 p.m. inside the Cowan Civic Center at the theater.
