The Lebanon Area Foundation held the annual Community Cares Campaign Celebration honoring the 2020 grant recipients at Lebanon First Assembly of God on Wednesday. During the luncheon 29 grant recipients were presented with award letters totaling $100-thousand-dollars. Foundation Board President Jason Russell said the community effort has provided over $1.7-million-dollars over the 19 year history of Community Cares….

Community Cares grants were awarded to 4 new organizations, Bays Cares Best Foot Forward, which provides shoes to children; the Eldridge Volunteer Fire Department, for air packs and a thermal imaging camera; to Gasconade C-4 School’s literacy project; and to Lebanon’s NAMI Chapter, for their mental health crisis and support programs.
