Committee of Fifty Luncheon Set For Friday

The September Honoree for this month’s Committee of Fifty Luncheon is Sergeant First Class Tucker Powers. He will be recognized as the NCO Academy Instructor of the Year 2022.
Powers is currently serving as the Senior Small Group Leader for the Engineer Senior Leader Course, MSCoE, Fort Leonard Wood.
Sergeant First Class Powers is a native of Dassel, Minnesota. He enlisted into the Army in November 2009 as a Combat Engineer, where he attended One Station Unit Training in A Company, 35th Engineer Battalion, Fort Leonard Wood.
SFC Powers has served in many levels of leadership from Team Leader to Platoon Sergeant. His assignments include Fort Leonard Wood, Camp Casey, Republic of Korea, and Fort Riley. He has deployed in support of combat operations to Afghanistan.
He will be joined at the luncheon by his wife, Keyle Reyes-Powers. They have two children, who will not be present at the luncheon.
This month’s Committee of Fifty luncheon will be held at Hampton Inn, beginning at noon, this Friday. The luncheon’s caterer will be Vidies Catering.
