Colonel Hibner Takes Over Engineer School and Regiment Command

At a ceremony this morning at Fort Leonard Wood, Brigadier General Mark Quander handed over responsibilities for the Engineer Regiment to Colonel Daniel Hibner, who becomes the school’s 99th commandant and chief of the Engineer Regiment.
Colonel Hibner, is his remarks, expressed thanks to his family and people who helped to advance his career.

Hibner comes to Fort Leonard Wood after serving as the commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District. Quander is slated to become the next commanding general of the U.S. Army Military Academy West Point.
