A preliminary hearing for 61-year old Angela C. Coleman of Lebanon has been rescheduled. Coleman was scheduled to appear in court yesterday and is charged with endangering the welfare of a child in the 1st Degree resulting in the death of a child.

The child, Mason Sadler, had Autism, and he was under the care of Coleman when he slipped out of the home and ended up drowning in a pond off of Oak Bend Drive in Laclede County on August 29th of this year.

Court documents show that Coleman had told police she had “gone upstairs” to go to the bathroom; however, video surveillance in the home showed that the children were alone for nearly an hour.

Coleman’s new court date is set for December 15th before Judge Larry Winfrey.
