Clinton Hugh Seeley, Jr. was born June 3, 1935 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Clinton Hewitt Seeley, Sr. and Olga Mae McKissic Seeley. He passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024 in his home in Lebanon, Missouri at the age of eighty-nine years and twenty days.
Clinton was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he was a Boy Scout and earned his Eagle Scout designation. He graduated from high school in Pittsburgh and was in the Air Force reserves.
He was excited when he was able to purchase a Boy Scout Camp, Camp Moore, and make it his farm. He also owned a Duck Pin Bowling Alley and was on a bowling team called, “The Inch Worms”. Clinton was quite the entrepreneur as he also owned a company that manufactured plastic bags.
Clinton was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Olga.
He is survived by his son, Huey Seeley of Lebanon, Missouri; two daughters, Sharlene Christeson of Linn Creek, Missouri and Sarah Seeley of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; three grandsons, Clinton Oliver Seeley, Evan Reed and Ethan Reed; and a host of family members and friends.
Clinton was a great dad and enjoyed coaching his kid’s teams in whatever sporting event they were involved in.
He moved to Missouri over thirty years ago and enjoyed deer hunting and fishing trout in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks. He was a member of the NRA. Clinton also enjoyed riding motorcycles when he was younger.
He was a hard worker and had a keen mind for business. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and know that this family and friends will treasure the memories he made with them.
