The Lebanon City Council heard a presentation from City Administrator Mike Schumacher on the planned Capital Projects. Schumacher began with the Civic Center Improvements, which includes some of the elements in the original design of the Kenneth E Cowan Civic Center

The project also included improvements to the foundation in the YMCA section of the building. During regular business, Lebanon City Council approved the ordinances pertaining to Certificates of participation, to allow financing for multiple projects on City facilities include the Cowan Civic Center, City Hall, the Mills Center, Wastewater treatment plant, Goodwin Hollow pump station, and 3 water towers. Ivey Roofing was approved for the civic center roof project, True Construction was approved for the removal and replacement of concrete at the Civic Center, and Travis Hodge was approved for foundation repairs. Overall the funding for the projects is expected to be around $12.7-million.
