City of Waynesville may be switching its fire protective services
The City of Waynesville may be switching its fire protective services soon to a different provider. At the regular monthly meeting of the city council, members will be considering passing a proposed ordinance to give notice to the Waynesville Rural Fire Protection District to terminate fire protection services. The council then will consider passing a proposed resolution to enter into contract negotiations with the city of St. Robert for fire protection services. City council members will consider the appointment of Eric Obermuller to the park board and the reappointments of Park Board Members David Carpenter and Joe Mottee. Members are scheduled to vote on ordinances to establish procedures for the use of Narcan and to amend procedures regarding police vehicle pursuits. The meeting time is 5 o’clock Thursday evening in the Waynesville Municipal Center.
