City of Lebanon Prepares for Electric Vehicle Boom

As more individuals purchase electric vehicles the need for charging outlets increases. With fewer than a thousand public use charging stations in the state of Missouri, more individuals consider purchasing their own. This week the City of Lebanon Board of Public Works approved a resolution to implement a rebate on the installation of Level 2 Electric Vehicle Charging Outlets. The city’s intent is to give home owners and builders an incentive to correctly install EV charging outlets to meet city code and increase safety. The rebate for the installation of the Electric Vehicle Charging Outlet is an addition to the City of Lebanon Rebate programs that are available to electric customers. While there are some federal rebates available for those purchasing electric vehicles, the state of Missouri does not.
