The City of Lake Ozark is moving forward in the improvements to its Warning Siren System. the City believes it to be in the best interest of the public to accept and adopt, the Outdoor Warning Siren System Planning Study, and to seek grants and/or other financial assistance to implement the improvements. City Administrator, Dave Van Dee, explains the process.

Costs for the improvements to the warning siren system are aimed to be funded from Grants and/or other forms of funding; A tax increase would be the last resort to improve the System.

At this time, The City of Lake Ozark will proceed to look for granting organizations available and the deadlines they offer, for improvements to the Warning Siren System.
