Close to 2-thousand meters were out in the City of Lebanon, after multiple power poles snapped during winds that were clocked at more than 70 miles per hour, on Monday afternoon. Since that time electric crews have been working continuously to replace poles and make repairs. Lebanon Mayor Jared Carr said most streets are now open and they are working on main feeder lines….

More than 200 poles snapped during the weather event. Mayor Carr said this weather event damage is more extensive than the ice storm of 2007…..

Lebanon City Utilities is receiving assistance from Waynesville, Saint Robert, Saint James, Rolla, Springfield, and Columbia, who are providing manpower and materials for the recovery effort.
