Lebanon City Council approved parade permits for Wagons for Warriors and the Route 66 Festival, which were on Tuesday night’s consent agenda. Council held a public hearing on the Fiscal Year 22 budget, which included a presentation from Finance Director Kat Gil, who said that when planning the budget, they stayed conservative.

Gil said that they have an end-of-year carryover of $17-point-9-million. Over the past 5 years, revenue has remained steady. Gill said sales tax revenue was up from last year, and revenue from service charges, license, and permits is up as well, showing an overall increase of about 5 percent. In the fiscal year, 2022 personnel cost is going to increase, and capital projects will decrease.

City Council approved the Fiscal Year 2022 Budget, and the finalized document will now be available at the City of Lebanon and the county library.
