Lebanon City Council heard a few requests for agreements and approval of bids from public works on Monday night. Environmental Services Supervisor Eric Mork requested a purchase in the amount of $7077 to restock materials and approval to purchase water and sewer materials for the new Public Safety Building at the cost of $19-thousand-252.
He also requested approval for the purchase of chemical scales for water wells. Mork said they only received one bid, which was from Deskin Scale Company at the cost of $26-thousand-692 dollars. In the Electric Department, Travis Long requested approval to purchase 3-phase pad mount transformers.

 

The total price tag on the purchase is $207,926. In other business, Long recommended Forevergreen Landscaping for Yard restoration with the bid of 95 cents per square foot.
Fulkerson Excavating LLC. and Legan Trucking & Excavating were both approved to provide Excavation and Site Work. Council approved a cost up to $58,740 for the agreement with Toth and Associates for a study of the Electric Distribution System, including a cost of service study. The study of the distribution system is expected to take about 6 months to complete.
