The City of Lebanon broke ground on the $2.7 million Public Safety Center Tuesday. The much-needed fire station on the southwest side of town can also be expanded to house a 9-1-1 call center and offices. In 2018 and 2019, voters approved capital improvement and public safety taxes to pay for the facility and the equipment and staffing. The new Lebanon Public Safety Center is scheduled for completion in early 2022. The new facility will be located at 1300 Ivey Lane.
