Christmas shopping surge and porch pirates

The last-minute surge for Christmas shoppers is underway, and that means more temptation for thieves. Laclede County Sheriff David Millsap says porch pirates may be looking for packages left by delivery people……

Sheriff Millsap encourages people to have a secure drop-off location set up or have someone pick up your packages for you. When shopping and traveling to and from brick and mortar stores, it’s also important to secure packages in your locked vehicle, out of sight.
