The 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic which was held in September brought in more than $30-thousand-dollars for Laclede County. On Thursday, a ceremony was held to present donations to select local charities and organizations that provide services to children, senior citizens, the sick and those with special needs. On Thursday, $25-hundred-dollar checks were presented to area back pack programs, L-Life , the Lions Club and Kiwanis. $2-thousand-dollars was presented to the Rotary Club Koats for Kids project. Oats, the Hughes and Conway Senior Center’s, Claws and Paws, Docs on Rocks, Project 360, Scan, Laclede Industries, Brighten the Journey, and Shop with a Cop, each received $15-hundred, and the Diaper Bank of the Ozarks received $1-thousand. Over the 21 year history of the Charity Golf Classic, close to a million dollars has been given back to Laclede County organizations.
