An investigation into multiple thefts in Camden County has led to the arrest of 2 suspected drug dealers. Osage Beach Police reported they received multiple reports of items being stolen from vehicles parked at various locations beginning in early November. They also received multiple reports of vehicles being stolen at various locations. One of the suspects, later identified as Jeffrey Ray Dean Ford, reportedly took debit cards that were in one of the stolen vehicles, and withdrew more than a thousand dollars from the victim’s bank account.    After an extensive investigation, officers went to a residence on Heron Bay with a search warrant. At the residence of Megan Scott and Jeffery Ford, officers located property that had been stolen from various locations, including purses, watches, numerous cell phones, and wallets. On the kitchen counter, officers reported finding multiple gram baggies of a crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine, packaged for distribution. 26 year old Jeffrey Ray Ford, has been charged with delivery of a controlled substance, and fraudulent use of a credit device. 39 year old Megan Scott has been charged with delivery of a controlled substance. Both have a bond of $150-thousand-dollars. According to paperwork filed with the prosecutor’s office, the two have a history of these types of crimes dating back nearly 5 years.
