Charges Filed in 3-Year Old’s Death

Charges of first-degree child endangerment have now been filed against a Lebanon woman. 60-year old Angela Coleman was supposed to be babysitting 3-year old Mason Sadler and some other children on August 29th of this year at her home on Oak Bend Drive, when Mason wandered away from the home and was later found drowned in a nearby pond. Laclede County Sheriff David Millsap said the case took some time to develop.

Video surveillance shows the children alone for more than an hour after Mason’s father left the house.

Coleman is in the Laclede County Jail with a bond set at $50,000. She is scheduled to be in court on Wednesday for a case review.
