The case of a Webster County man accused of crimes against a child has been moved to Laclede County. 62 year old Wayne Shockey of Mansfield was indicted in Webster County in February of this year on charges of first-degree statutory sodomy, statutory sodomy and attempted sexual intercourse with a minor, and sexual exploitation of a minor. According to court documents Shockey allegedly had deviate sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 14. Shockey also allegedly took a sex video of a minor. This is not the first time that Shockey has faced charges, he was previously arrested in 2020 with sexually abusing children. Shockey’s case was moved to Laclede County on a change of venue, and his trial has been set for November 27th, 2023.
