A plane with 98 Korean and Vietnam War veterans from Missouri takes flight today with their hopes of healing the hearts and minds. Central Missouri Honor Flight is taking the war heroes to the nation’s Capitol to see memorials dedicated to their military service. President Mary Paulsell says the trips help many veterans to close the chapter on a difficult part of their lives.

To give these veterans a proper homecoming, the public is invited to cheer them on at the Columbia Courtyard Marriott tonight around 9:45.
