The Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering Navy Detachment, Fort Leonard Wood, held a change-of-charge ceremony earlier this week in Shields Hall, where Navy Lieutenant Nicholas Gegg relinquished command to Navy Lieutenant Joshua Lamp. Gegg took command of the detachment in July 2018. Lamb, who is a native of Gainesville, Missouri, said he was excited to join the professional and dedicated staff at Fort Wood. The Fort Leonard Wood Navy Detachment teaches construction management, crew member and forklift operations, and provides instructor and administrative support for Navy students attending the Mobile Utilities Support Equipment School.
