Cell Phones and Heat Don’t Mix

Individuals spend hundreds and sometimes over a thousand dollars for a cell phone. Because the devices are made up of sensitive components it’s important to protect them from the heat. Duane Chaffin with U.S. Cellular advises everyone to keep your cell phone out of the heat.

He said the best thing to do is turn off the phone, and into a location where the temperature is 80 degrees or less, and let it cool down on its own.
