A man and woman who are accused of stealing a car from the parking lot of Walmart in Lebanon, have been arrested. Police began investigating after a man reported that his girlfriend lost her keys in the store and when she went to look for them in the car, it was gone. The investigating officer reviewed the security video and said that 31-year-old Blake Pavelich was spotted grabbing a set of keys off a shopping cart. According to the probable cause, Pavelich and Danielle Rippy were then spotted driving around the parking lot, and getting into the car that belongs to the victim. The video showed Rippy driving away, stealing the car. When officers went to Pavelich’s home and placed him under arrest, they say he attempted to take off running. Pavelich is charged with resisting arrest and tampering with a motor vehicle and is scheduled to be in court on February 19th. Rippy is jailed with a bond of $5-thousand-dollars on a charge of felony tampering with a motor vehicle.
