A homeless man who was wanted for an attempted carjacking in Washington Missouri was arrested in Lebanon on Thursday. Authorities say that 45-year-old Chad Stone pointed a gun at a woman in the parking lot at a Target store in Washington. The woman was able to drive away safely, and Stone reportedly ran into the woods. He was able to make his way to Lebanon, where he was found staying in a motel with another person and was arrested by Lebanon Police. In addition to charges filed in connection with the carjacking, he is being questioned in connection with an incident in which he allegedly forced his way into a building also in Washington. Washington is located about 120 miles from Lebanon in Franklin County.
