Capital Region Medical Center will be closing clinics in Holts Summit and St. Elizabeth

A Jefferson City Health Care System announced Tuesday that it will close two of its clinics in Miller and Cole counties. Capital Region Medical Center will be closing clinics in Holts Summit and St. Elizabeth in less than two months. These Capitol Region clinics will be closing on April 15th. In making the announcement, Capital Region Medical Center President Garpare Calvaruso said, “This has been an extremely difficult decision. We are appreciative of the positive impact that these facilities have had over the many years of their operations, but we must balance this impact with stewardship of our resources and the changing healthcare landscape” Calvaruso promised that Capital Region will be reaching out to every affected patient over the next several weeks to assist them in transitioning their care to other locations. Capital Region will continue to operate in Jefferson City, California, Eldon, Linn, Owensville, and Versailles.
