Candidates begin filing for General Municipal Election on Tuesday Dec 17

Filing for the April General Municipal Election begins on December 17th. In Lebanon, City Clerk Laina Starnes tells us that filing will begin at 8 a.m.

Additional qualifications for office holders can be found on the City of Lebanon website by searching for office holder qualifications. The City Council positions that will be filed for are currently being held by Council members Gib Adkins, Leann Mather, Sheila Mitchell and Chuck Jordan. Placement on the April 7th ballot for Lebanon voters will be determined by the timestamp when a candidate files in the City Clerk’s Office. Filing for the General Municipal Election will close on January 21st.
