Campaign of Caring surpasses $22,000 mark

The Lebanon Area Foundation Campaign of Caring is in the final week of the radio campaign for Community Cares. Lebanon Area Foundation Executive Director Melinda Fries says this campaign is seeking to raise funds that will fill the gap in funding for 24 non-profit organizations, who haven’t been able to hold fundraisers.

The grants awarded through the Campaign of Caring and Community Cares will be used to help many residents of Laclede County, including families with children. One example is the Diaper Bank….

In addition, agencies in Laclede County will receive funds that allow them to continue to operate to provide food, shelter, and other essentials to the lives of Laclede County residents. The radio broadcasts of Campaign of Caring will continue until the end of the week, and those who would like to give can contact the Lebanon Area Foundation at 417-532-8868. To date, donors to the Campaign of Caring have given $22-thousand-559-dollars and 24 cents.
