Camdenton Woman Hospitalized After Cole County Accident

A 66-year-old Camdenton woman suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 6:30 last night (Tuesday) on U.S. 54 at Route D in Cole County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that Mary M. Box was a passenger in a car driven by 58-year-old Jay H. Teutenberg of Linn Creek that was heading west on 54 when the Teutenberg car was in struck a pickup driven by 66-year-old Charles J. Voegeli of Russellville, trying to cross Highway 54 from Route D. Voegeli’s pickup then ran into the median and struck a road sign. Teutenberg’s car crossed the eastbound lane and struck a rock bluff. All those involved suffered serious injuries and were taken to University Hospital in Columbia.
