Camdenton woman faces drug charge in Laclede Co
A Camdenton woman is facing felony drug charges following an investigation in Lebanon on Saturday. According to Lebanon Police, an officer responded to the 14-hundred block of West Elm for a report of drug activity. The woman who is on probation, came outside, and denied using methamphetamine, but admitted that she had marijuana pipes in the front of her pants. She also said she had a marijuana card, but didn’t have it with her. The woman was taken into custody. While in the Police car, the woman reportedly removed something from under her skirt and placed it behind her back. The officer searched the patrol car and found a baggie with a crystalline substance, hidden in the car seat. Denise Jefferson is currently in custody for failure to appear in court on a prior charge.
