Camdenton woman charged with Drug Possession

A 60 year old Camdenton woman who claimed that she was sober from drugs and alcohol is facing felony drug charges. On March 14th, a Drug Task Force Officer pulled over a car for crossing the white line while driving on Passover Road. According to the Officer’s statement, the driver of the car, Jane Williams, was unable to sit still, was overly talkative and tried to convince him that she was sober. After gaining consent the officer brought in a K9 and the dog alerted to the presence of controlled substance. During the search the officer allegedly located 3 baggies that contained a white powder substance, that each tested positive for controlled substances fentanyl and methamphetamine. Williams is charged with 2 counts of felony possession of a controlled substance with a bond of $10-thousand-dollars.
