Camdenton sales tax revenue continues to climb

The City of Camdenton saw a near record increase in sales tax revenue over the past few months. City Administrator Jeff Hooker reports that sales tax for the month increased by more than 36 percent above last year….

Hooker said this is possibly one of those cases of any news is good news…

Hooker said that another factor in the sales tax revenue increase could be that people are making the Lake their permanent home, and there are new businesses coming to Camdenton. He said they realize that the revenue increases may not continue, and they will continue to budget accordingly.
