Camdenton names new Police Chief

After 40 years with the City of Camdenton, many of those years, serving as Police Chief, Chief Laura Wright is retiring as of the first of October. On Tuesday, the Camdenton Board of Aldermen recognized Chief Wright for her years of service to the community. Today(thurs), the city announced that Lieutenant Jeff Beauchamp has been selected as the new Police Chief. Beauchamp also has a long service record with the City of Camdenton. He has been with the Police Department for over 30 years. Beauchamp will begin his duties as Police Chief on October 15th.
