Camdenton man faces charges of domestic assault

A Camdenton man is charged with felony domestic assault in connection with an incident on Riley Ridge Road in Linn Creek. The Camden County Sheriff’s Office began investigating after they received a call from an agency in another county where the victim was seeking treatment. Stephen Albert Underwood is accused of hitting the victim with his fist, kicking her while she was on the floor, and wrapping his hands around her throat. The victim was treated for bruising and bleeding around her face and head. Underwood is being held without bond on a charge of felony domestic assault in the first degree.
