A Camdenton man is being held without bond after allegedly assaulting a woman and throwing chairs into the windshield of a car. The Camden County Sheriff’s Office reports that a deputy responded to a call on Velvet Drive on Saturday. At the scene, it was reported that yelling was heard from a bedroom, and then Tony Jones was seen throwing the victim across the bed, and the bedroom was torn apart. Jones left but then came back and at that time threw a television. During the assault, Jones reportedly hit the victim in the face and choked her. He was told to leave again by the homeowner, and as he was leaving, he reportedly threw two chairs breaking the windshield of the owner’s car. Jones is charged with felony domestic assault and is being held without bond. His next bond hearing is set for June 22nd.
