Camdenton Community Center on hold

Camdenton Mayor John McNabb shared some concerns after the bids for the Camdenton Community Center came in with unexpected numbers. Mayor McNabb reported that of the 21 packets that were sent out, only two companies made a submission, and the bids were extremely high…..

The Mayor said he believes they should take a wait-and-see approach to the project. The City of Camdenton owns all the documents related to the project, so they won’t have to spend additional funds on that part of the project. McNabb suggested that they put the Community Center project on hold, and wait until next year to possibly bid it again.
