Camdenton changes Covid sick leave policy

Covid 19 is an issue in the City of Camdenton, which brought about discussion by Camdenton Board of Aldermen. Mayor John McNabb said previously federal money was available to pay employee’s who were out because of Covid 19, up to 80 hours. That funding ran out at the end of the year, and the Mayor is asking the Board of Aldermen to consider a change to the policy.

Camdenton city employees are provided 6 paid sick days a year, which can be carried over for up to 5 years. Additionally employees have the option to donate sick days to one another.
