The Community Center Project in Camdenton is on hold as the city continues to save for the multi-million dollar project. The project was placed on hold when bids came in much higher than anticipated.
City Administrator Jeff Hooker said they have all of the drawings and engineering for the project, now it just comes down to money.

Hooker said the City of Camdenton has applied for an ARPA Grant which could pay for about half of the cost of the Community Center Project if approved. He said they have also applied for grants to help pay for Police equipment and for a Pool Splashpad. Hooker said they hope to hear back soon on all of the grant applications.
