The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services recently removed 33 counties from its list of Covid hotspot advisories. These counties included Camden, Laclede, Miller, Phelps, and Texas Counties, but not Pulaski County. In fact, Pulaski is the only county in the southwest and south-central Missouri to be considered a hot spot for Covid-19. The Pulaski County Health Department reports the number of new cases in the county totaled 95 for the week of October 17th through 23rd. This was considerably higher than the 67 cases reported the week before.
As a result of the latest actions of the Department of Health and Senior Services, there are only 17 counties in the state to be on the Covid 19 Hot Spot advisory list.
