Camden County Wreck Kills Camdenton Woman

A one-vehicle accident at 3:30 Saturday afternoon in Camden County has claimed the life of a Camdenton woman. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a car driven by 33-year old Jason D. Gardner of Camdenton traveled off the right side of Route F, just south of Indian Park Road, after failing to negotiate a curve, struck two signs, overturned, and struck a tree. A passenger in the car, 32-year old LizaJane C. Linebarger, was pronounced dead at the scene. 30-year old Steve C. Montgomery of Camdenton suffered moderate injuries, Gardner suffered minor injuries, and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital. None of the occupants of the car were wearing seatbelts.
