Camden County to hire a Covid-19 Nurse for the Justice Center

The Camden County Commission approved Thursday afternoon the creation of a COVID Nurse for its Justice Center. The three county commissioners had been discussing the position for a few weeks at the request of judges and other officials who work in the Camdenton-based courthouse. The nurse, when hired, will be in charge of coordinating all visitor screenings, facility cleaning and other measures to keep visitors and employees safe from the coronavirus. The position was approved for an initial six-month trial period, with an option to review and renew if the need arises.
