Camden County Shooting Suspect Charged

A Lake Ozark man has been charged in connection with a shooting at an apartment complex on Scarsdale Circle in the Village of Four Seasons last week. James C Mark, is charged with the Class B Felony of Assault in the 1 st Degree, burglary, armed criminal action, and tampering with a motor vehicle. The charges were filed when Camden County Deputies arrived at the apartment and found a man with a gunshot wound to his chest. Mark was arrested on the afternoon of March 28th sitting in a vehicle that was parked on Thrush Road. In addition to the charges related to the shooting, Mark is charged with
Attempted Escape from Confinement stemming from an incident in the Camden County detention center on March 29th. Mark is being held without bond and will appear before the court later this month.
