Camden County Man charged with Kidnapping

A man from Linn Creek is charged with kidnapping after allegedly abducting his 13-year-old nephew. The mother of the boy called Osage Beach Police on July 2nd, and said that the man had driven away with her son in the car. The woman said that she took her son to the doctor and found her brother identified as Carl P. Wyatt at the office too. He told the woman that he didn’t have a ride, and she offered to give him a ride home. When they stopped at the pharmacy, the woman went inside to get her son’s prescription, and Wyatt drove away with the boy still in the car. Wyatt and the boy were later located at a residence in Linn Creek. Wyatt is charged with kidnapping and is being held in the Camden County Jail without bond.
