Camden County Deputy injured during assault call

A Camden County Deputy was treated and release from the hospital after he was assaulted during a call Sunday morning. Deputies responded to the area of Bittersweet and Sweet William Road for an assault just after midnight. While deputies were attempting to take the suspect into custody, he allegedly bit one of the deputies injuring him. The suspect, 25 year old Anthony Magin of Gravios Mills is charged with felony assault on a law enforcement officer and misdemeanor assault and remains in custody without bond.
