Camden County computer network hacked
The Camden County government computer network has been a victim of hacking. What has been described as a “sophisticated encryption attack,” is currently disrupting operations. This is the second time in four years this has occurred. Camden County officials say they are not aware of any unauthorized disclosure of personal data or financial information. County technology experts have been working with independent cybersecurity experts to restore normal operations conduct a thorough forensic investigation. Camden County has also notified the FBI of this encryption attack.
