Camden County Accident Injures Two

Two Iberia residents suffered injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 2:30 Thursday afternoon on Horseshoe Bend Parkway, east of Emerald Bay Drive in Camden County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a car driven by 81-year old Kenneth D. Irwin ran off the right edge of the roadway; Irwin then overcorrected, returned to the roadway, and ran off the left side of the road. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Health Center. A passenger in his vehicle, 59-year old Daisy M. Irwin, suffered minor injuries and was also taken to Lake Regional. Both occupants were wearing seatbelts.
